Wow, that's so nicely done, my partner who was sitting behind me asked if it was a photo or not. :)

Love the water refractions and the sunlight reflecting off of the mountains. Reminds me somewhat of a trip I took recently to Scotland.

phenomenal!

I just downloaded terragen about an hour ago.
what is the original resolution of your render?

I assume you got a registered version. I plan to get one as soon as I've got the $99 bucks, so it shouldn't be too long.

That is very good. The part about this one I like is how the light is so lightly sprinkled across that ridge. its a dim scene but its beautiful.

Very sharp and fearless terrain i must say. I love the cliffs, and lighting, i like how well you put focus on the mountain, with a good clear atmosphere. grass is a little contrasty which doesn't harm th piece, just makes it more exaggerated. good job :)

Upper half of this image looks great, but once you hit the great it seems washed out to me, maybe shadow lightness is a little high, not quite sure, also the small part of terrain thats in the water in the foreground is very choppy/straight?
nice piece of work though

Wow... I love the amount of detail in this... Overall color-wise it looks a little dull, but still the mountain there is enough to make one gasp

A definite fave, it is gorgeous...but i dont understand what "rendering" is. This looks like a photograph to me, but it cant be if whatever "rendering" is took you 22 hours. So, if it isnt too annoying, would you mind explaining to me what you did exactly. It is beautiful.

Rendering is actually composing bits and pieces into a full image, i'm not sure what it means myself, but i created this image in a program called terragen, in which you adjust many settings terrains etc. and can take quite a while, once you are pleased with the looks (or not ofcourse) , you can let your computer render it at the designated resolution, hope that clears a bit up

Thanks very much for taking the time to explain. There are so many interesting and beautiful things people do with digital art programs, most of which i have never even heard of. Anyways, that picture just looked like an amazing photograph, very very realistic and lovely, so good work...whatever you did to make it that way:)

This is gorgeous but i dont think i understand what "rendering" means. Is this not a photograph? If its not, then I dont know what to think. If its not too insanely irritating, would you mind explaining it to me? I would appriciate it. :)
